Case study

Applicant:
Rzeszowskie Zakłady Drobiarskie RESDROB Sp. z o.o.
Project title:
Opracowanie skutecznej metody wydłużenia przydatności do spożycia mięsa kurcząt brojlerów.

Value: 61.334.525,00 PLN netto
Funding: 31.778.228,75 PLN

The aim of the project is to develop an effective method of extending the shelf life of broiler chicken meat stored in refrigerated conditions. The planned storage time of breast muscles without signs of organoleptic changes and microbiological load of the total number of bacteria in 1 g is 5 x 106 – at least 12 days from the time of slaughter (number of days of refrigerated storage). Poultry meat production, especially broiler chicken meat, has been one of the fastest growing segments of the meat market in Poland and worldwide in the last dozen or so years. Broiler chicken meat is currently very popular with consumers due to its high nutritional and dietary value, desirable sensory attractiveness and relatively low price. The project will be implemented in cooperation on a subcontracting basis with the University of Rzeszów (College of Natural Sciences, Institute of Food Technology and Nutrition) over 30 months.

Value: 37.552.875,90 PLN netto
Funding: 18.041.923,69 PLN

The aim of the project is to increase the company’s competitiveness in the market of wooden frame construction by building a production hall using environmentally friendly technologies, purchasing a low-emission technological line for the production of prefabricated houses. Project activities lead to the development of the company’s business activity, in particular an increase in revenues, profit and increase in employment, energy efficiency and, above all, reduced emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. The implementation of the project will have a fundamental impact on environmental protection by making the company’s production activity independent of conventional energy and the hard coal sector. The activities include introducing an innovative product to the market, which are wooden frame houses insulated with multi-reflective foil in frame partitions, which has not been used in construction so far, with properties that significantly reduce heat loss. By using innovative solutions in the production process, the environmentally friendly technology will reduce the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere.
